1st Monthly Tutor Meeting

Tuesday July 7th we had our first monthly tutor meeting. We took our time reviewing games, giving us more ideas. We shared some materials we have used. Several tutors described their initial experiences with their students. One tutor shared experiences she has working with kids. Another tutor is waiting for her meeting with her student so she appreciated the discussions. Some of the topics discussed:

** Citizenship Exam
** Alphabet Pronounciation tips
** Games

• Pin the tail on the donkey using a wet board
• Cutting questions into strips, drawing from a bag
• Various dice games
• Word association and sorting games
• Sentence and word creation games
• Paper dolls
• Bag puppet
